I bought this switch for my son's room and it's really fine but I found a much better switch for my family room.

But you should know...
This switch needs 110 volt power.It doesn't need to be connected to the fan because this is a wireless switch.

The WT150 (this product) uses a battery and that's the main reason I don't like it compared to the CT100 (no battery).

(More customer reviews)We purchased this fan 4 years ago, and it has been wonderful.Still does not make a sound when running. The finish on it is beautiful - no faux wood look.The only drawback to this fan is the shades.They are paper, and after time, they dry out and actually start to shrivel and crack.I'm afraid that they could actually become a fire hazard.

We moved recently and took this fan with us.We were not able to re-use the shades, so I started looking for replacements... that was nearly impossible, since the fan requires a socket ring shade.I have found some, just none that I want to spend my money on.When I called Hunter to see if they had any adaptable shades, they said no, but they would send me free replacements.I received them several weeks ago, and yesterday, I noticed that one of the new ones is starting to dry-out and shrivel already.I may need to get smaller bulbs with less wattage.I am already using 40w ceiling fan bulbs...

I know this sounds like a lot of complaints for one ceiling fan, but the look of the fan makes this con well worth it for me.

The fan is super quiet...in fact, we catch ourselves leaving it on and forgetting it is because you don't hear it. It was a little of a pain to install only because of my 87 year-old house and it was not already wired for the 3-item switch. In my next house this will also be the fan I choose for the bath.

Only complaint was the product was delivered to the door in it's original box. Since it was a gift, a brown box was what I was expecting. Not to mention that it was left at the front door in plain view for a thief to take!
