(More customer reviews)This is an excellent fan for the price. The installation was very straight forward and simple, all the pieces fit together properly, an indication of quality. That is a good thing because the directions weren't all that great. Once nice thing is that they included a bag of extra screws, in case you lose one during install. And wouldn't you know it, I dropped a screw and lost it. Luckily, I had the bag of extra parts!
One important thing to point out. With most ceiling fans, the stem that attaches the fan to the ceiling is optional. That's not the case with this fan. If you want to mount your ceiling fan flush with the ceiling, this is not the fan for you.
Once it was installed, I was impressed with how quiet it is and how it looks like it cost much more than I paid. Overall, very good value.
