(More customer reviews)The remote for this product is square and bulky. Not at all what is pictured. The product itself works well but I am still disapointed with the remote. I sent a request to get the photo changed on this product awhile ago and I wasn't going to write a review. It still hasn't been done so the following link is the type of remote this one comes with. (More customer reviews)This is a cut to fit solution to a heat loss problem. Now that it's in place, I don't notice it. The supplied Velcro tape made no sense to me, as you would have part of it permanently attached to the shutter. It would look tacky. I went out and bought two roll of adhesive magnetic tape (less than $3.00 for both), attached the tape to the back of the insulation, and stuck the insulation up to the shutter for a tight, magnetic seal. When summer comes, the insultation goes away with no evidence of its existance.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this remote for a Minka Aire Fan and was the best addition to the Minka Aire experience.I do think it is a bit pricy (for just a remote) however it enhances the functionality of the Fan as my switch is quite far from my bed. I would have given it a 4.5 Star but there was no option to.I wish the remote was a little smaller and auto lite for night time use.You can't see or feel the buttons on the remote in the dark.Great product over all.

(More customer reviews)This fan is heavy in weight! It looks great, really catches the eye. My son flipped out when he seen it. Love the night light built into the canopy! The main light needs much improvment!!! It is not bright enough at all. Its one of the energy efficient bulbs so a dimmer will not work. There is no need for a wall switch, everything is controled be the remote control. I paid $234.00 with free shipping on this fan, due to the main light being so dim it was not worth it. Your really paying for the appearance on this fan. The fan itself is most powerful and will move air! Has a slight hummmm when running. Most ceiling fans do, but for this price I thought it would a bit more quite. It's not really loud but could be more quite.
