(More customer reviews)The advantage of this fan is it's ability to be mounted close to the ceiling and incorporate a light that hugs the ceiling. The disadvantage of this fan/light assembly is that it comes with a wireless remote controller that cannot be altered. That is, you cannot discard the wireless components and hard wire the light and fan to a wall mounted controller. Also, you cannot substitute another (say wall mounted) wireless controller for the hand held controller. You will have to stick with the controller that it comes with. This is true for the palermo as well.
