(More customer reviews)I have had two of these fans in some of my bathrooms.Both were LOUD and short lived.My parents had a similar fan as well and were quite dissapointed with them.Neither of my units lasted more than two years without having to replace the motors (I've even cracked the motors open myself and relubed them).Even the warranty battle has been dissapointing... Without writing a book, I have had some other general problems with these units related to electronics and plastic bezel.I have replaced the unit with a less expensive, heavier constructed, and quieter unit made by Hunter.Music to my ears and much more reliable.

(More customer reviews)This was a replacement unit for one that was 15 years old. The old unit was in perfect condition, except that the white plastic fan cover had discolored over the years and became somewhat brittle. We remodeled and replaced the old unit, but we moved the old unit to another bathroom in the basement and it was off and running again. The discolored grill didn't much matter because this bathroom is rarely used - if I had my way we would not have replaced it - but my wife insisted since we were having everything "new" in the new room.
