(More customer reviews)on a 700 tube it has enough volume to get your pressure up while you are on the road. fits anywhere and looks nice.wish it would let go of the valve stem easier after pumping up but then again holds on during pumping to my 120 psi.

(More customer reviews)This has been the best fan we have ever purchased!It is quiet, almost silent, and the cooling breeze it makes is surpassed by none other than Nature herself.It was an expensive fan, but my husband and I couldn't find a fan we liked locally.We were a little leery of spending the money at first, but the results have been well worth it.We love how it looks, too.It is a beautiful fan--it looks like it was made out of wood and carved--it has lovely designs on it.The light it puts out is gentle due to the design of the fixture, and it is fully adjustable with the built-in dimmer switch.The only thing it lacks is a remote control; the fan control is mounted on the wall.However, this has not been a problem for us, because the lowest setting is so gentle that we can leave it on all night during the summer and NOT wake up with a headache like we did with our old fan.We are very impressed and pleased with both the function and design of this fan and would highly recommend this product to others.

52" Casa Vieja® Probe II™ Ceiling Fan Review

(More customer reviews)This is one of the few ceiling fans that doesn't look completely hideous (and is less than $500).I paid $169 on sale at Lamps Plus.Casa Vieja seems to be manufactured by Lamps Plus, as LP was mentioned on the box and in the manual.

For some reason, the 52 inch version comes with a wall control only, whereas the 44 inch comes with a handheld remote.The wall control must be plugged into a wall switch (any switch will do.. doesn't have to be connected to the fan, as it is a RF control) in order to control the unit.This was problematic for me, since my old fan has chain pulls and was hardwired into the ceiling (no switch).So, you have to get the handheld remote for $24.

Installation was fairly easy, though the manual is pretty sparse.

The manufacturing quality seems a little questionable -- the bulb holder on mine had no threads so had to be replaced.Also, one of the blade holders had a slight bend in the corner, detracting from the "perfect sphere" look, but didn't affect fan performance.

The unit comes with two downrod options, but no flushmount.I was concerned about this at first, but keep in mind the light only extends 3 or 4 inches below the blades, so this ended up having more head clearance than my old flushmounted fan.

Overall, we like (or at least don't hate) the styling, and the fan seems to run well.Pretty quiet, no wobbles.

This fan matches the Mission (Arts & Crafts) style of my home.It's well made and reasonably easy to install.The two wire (plus ground) electric connection means you don't need to rewire a ceiling light (otherwise to control the fan and both lighting sections would require a hard-to-install new multiconductor wire).

It does require a ceiling fan electric box with extra weight capability(~50 lbs), but these are relatively easy to install into a wooden stud ceiling from below (through the octagonal ceiling light box cutout; once you've removed the old lighting ceiling box).Be sure to turn off the breaker for the circuit or get an electrician.

It has a "bracket" that mounts to the ceiling box, and a "ball" on the hanger pipe that allows you to use both hands on the fan to lift the fan in place on the ceiling; much easier than trying to hold the fan in one hand and put a pin in with the other (I don't think I could lift this hefty fan with one hand safely).

The package contained everything I needed, except the fan ceiling box and two 60W candelabra bulbs (use bulbs rated for vibration use).There are two "hanger rods" (short decorative pieces of pipe); one that is "minimum length" (~3.5 inches) and one that is "short" (~6 inches).If you have a sloped (cathedral) ceiling, you'll need a longer pipe.Most big box home improvement stores have the pipes and fan electric boxes.The metal color is described as "iron oxide" which I took to be black when buying the fan, but I would call it more a dark bronze color.

Once installed, you have to "teach" the fan to recognize the wall control switch; it was easy.

It took me about 90 minutes to install and test.

The fan is quiet, three speed and reversible, all controlled at the wall.There are no switches on the fan.Each of the two lighting sections (one above the blades, one below) is independently controllable, with a continuous dimmer.it remembers the last setting.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this remote for a Minka Aire Fan and was the best addition to the Minka Aire experience.I do think it is a bit pricy (for just a remote) however it enhances the functionality of the Fan as my switch is quite far from my bed. I would have given it a 4.5 Star but there was no option to.I wish the remote was a little smaller and auto lite for night time use.You can't see or feel the buttons on the remote in the dark.Great product over all.
