(More customer reviews)I bought this item to replace an existing dimmer switch that had simply broke in my hand when adjusting the cheap plastic slider.The Emerson switch I am reviewing replaced that and is much better quality.So far, the switch fit snugly in the vacancy created by the previous one, and feels more sturdy.The sliders are a heavier quality or something and I do feel I need to worry about it popping off in my hand when I turn the light or fan on.Installation was a snap as well with the long color-coded flexible wires and so on.
